Psychotherapists

Maria Rotkiel – has a MA in Psychology and is a Cognitive-Behavioural Therapist receiving certification number 129. She is also a Public Relations specialist and is currently undertaking a PhD in cultural studies at the Warsaw School of Social Sciences and Humanities. Her specialisation is personal development, professional counselling (including counselling regarding media image creation), mediations and negotiations, crisis intervention, mood disorders, couple therapy and addictions (including non-chemical ones).

Magdalena A. Kitłowska – has a MA in Psychology and graduated in cognitive-behavioural psychotherapy receiving PTTPB certification number 47. For many years she has been working in psychiatric units (both day and in-patient unit) carrying out individual and group therapy. She participates in numerous supplementary training in Poland and Great Britain (in OCTC). She specialises in obsessive–compulsive disorder, impulse control disorder, anxiety disorders, personality disorders (using Schema Therapy) and relationship problems (couple therapy). She also runs numerous workshops in CBT in Poland and abroad.

Jędrzej Kosewski – psychologist, psychotherapist. He has a MA in psychology from University of Warsaw, specialising in family and marriage therapy and graduated in cognitive-behavioural psychotherapy from Cognitive-Behavioural Therapy Centre in cooperation with Oxford Cognitive Therapy Centre. He received PTTPB certification number 201 as well as Cognitive Therapy Centre certification. He has participated in training regarding various forms of therapy with the young in Youth Centre for Prevention and Psychotherapy. He has gained clinical experience in therapy with anxiety, anger and depression working in a neurosis unit as well as private practice. He carries out individual therapy for young people as well as adults.

Agata Rakowska – has a MA in Psychology and Philosophy and is currently undergoing a four-year training course in cognitive-behavioural therapy. She holds a postgraduate diploma in Psycho-oncology. For a few years she has been working individually and in groups with people with oncological conditions (in different stages). At present, she is working in a day unit in a psychiatric hospital and delivers CBT in mental health care. She also specialises in anxiety disorders.

Agata Katarzyna Tomczyk – has a MA in Psychology from Maria Curie-Skłodowska University in Lublin. Currently, she is undergoing a four-year training course in cognitive-behavioural therapy. She has participated in numerous training courses in cognitive-behavioural therapy (e.g. in Rational Behaviour Therapy, PTSD workshops during EWOTS 2009), stress management and crisis intervention. She works in mental health care in the Military Medical Institute in Warsaw where she practices psychological counselling and therapy. Her interests include: military psychology (combat stress, in particular) and stress management. She specialises in mood and anxiety disorders and eating disorders.

Karolina Staniaszek – has a MA in Psychology and is currently undergoing a four-year training course in cognitive-behavioural therapy. She works in the day unit in Tworki Hospital carrying out individual and group therapy as well as psychological workshops. She has also gained experience running therapy in Specialist Family Outpatient Clinic and trainings in e.g. Relapses Prevention Unit in Institute of Psychiatry and Neurology and Academic Centre for Psychotherapy. She specialises in working with people suffering from anxiety disorders (including social anxiety disorders, panic attacks and obsessive–compulsive disorders), mood disorders and also low self- esteem and anger management problems.
